Deja’vu Ive been here before
With my rag-tag crew when I went on tour
and I didn’t break the glass with a sealed fist of hate
but a real twist of fate and a pill to escape
using skill to relate both the real and the fake
to a landscape draped over hills of a lake
a wonderland hidden in the thresh of a small town
ladies lookin fresh, best parts that their all down
you cant frown with a life like this
and life aint worth shit with a knife sliced wrist
its nights like this that remind me of the past
before you and I both found our seperate paths
and god damn I miss that desperate laugh
but this the aftermath of everything we had
before it finally passed
Now I’m stayin on task tryna bask in the light
and you aint even gotta ask if I’m doin alright
I got my life on track, while the wife that I lack
Is still trapped in the world that was holdin me back
